Many helping hands support Ice Dogs hockey in Fairbanks
FAIRBANKS - We’ve all seen the high-speed video of a sports venue coming to life prior to a game, the short, time-lapsed videos that compress two hours in to two minutes. It starts with an empty stadium and then shows all crew and equipment rapidly bringing the arena to life. I recently had the opportunity to experience the same sort of thing when I found myself alone at the Big Dipper a couple hours prior to the start of an Ice Dogs game. I began paying attention to all of the steps that take place and all the people involved in putting together a game night at the Dipper. The music was interrupted by a short silence. The public address announcer then conducted a “mic check.” He uttered that famous word “testing” several times. He counted to three more than three times. He said “hello” to a friend on the opposite side of the rink, who gave the PA man a thumbs up. Satisfied that the system was working properly, he turned off the microphone and the music resumed. Players from both teams came to the upper level of the building. Dressed in shorts and sweatshirts, they began to strut and loosen up for the game. Hockey players use stretches and exercises that you won’t find in any other sport. Some are done as a group. Others are done individually. One team was pretty vocal as they attempted to generate energy for the task ahead. The other team was not mute, but the players were decidedly more subdued. Some players headed back down to the locker room as soon as they completed what were apparently mandatory stretches. Others lingered to work on a tight hamstring or sore shoulder. Youth hockey players dressed in their team jerseys were preparing for a night of selling 50-50 tickets and Chuck-A-Pucks to raise money for their organization. Parents were assigned a plastic drink pitcher containing the tickets and cash. A few of the adults tried to issue instructions to their designated group, but the kids were teasing and chasing.Cash Advance Loan Alaska Money - News

Here's a sample: I'll use Alaska as an example because they have an oil trust. They get money, and it gets distributed to everybody who's lived there for a year. When Sarah Palin was the governor, it was more than $3000 per person.
